May 20, Fineko/abc.az. As part of development of international transportation and simplification of procedures for carriers, Kazakhstan has introduced a mechanism for exchanging e-permit forms with Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan.

"The transition to the electronic format will make it possible to abandon paper forms and minimize administrative barriers. Now the registration and use of permits is carried out digitally through the integrated information systems of the parties," Ministry’s press service says.

Obtaining a public service is available through elicense.kz (https://elicense.kz/?utm_source=chatgpt.com) in section "Transport". To obtain an e-permit, a vehicle must be registered in Kazakhstan and have access to international road transport.

"Significant work has previously been carried out to digitize Chinese and Uzbek foreign permit forms, and launch of electronic exchange with Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan is an important step towards a complete digital transformation of the industry," the Ministry informs.

In connection with transition to electronic format, the Ministry of Transport warns carriers about inadmissibility of purchasing permit forms through third parties and calls for obtaining permits exclusively through official government services with strict observance of the established procedure.

"All information about the issued e-permits, including the data of the carrier and the vehicle (state registration number), is automatically transmitted to the information systems of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. Thus, when using a permit issued in violation (including those purchased from third parties), a data discrepancy is revealed. This may result in a refusal to enter the territory of these states, as well as other measures of responsibility," the Ministry says.
