May 12, Fineko/abc.az. India's Minister of Oil and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, has denied country's refusal to import liquefied natural gas from Russia.

ABC.AZ informs that earlier, the media reported that India refused Russia's offer to purchase LNG subject to US sanctions.

Puri pointed out that "a lot of myths" are spreading.

"I read an article claiming that India stopped importing, allegedly refused to accept a shipment of LNG from the Russian Federation," the official said.

He added that India did not import this fuel from Russia, while the minister did not specify whether it was a specific batch of LNG.
