May 12, Fineko/abc.az. Shell intends to sell its network of gas stations in France.
ABC.AZ informs, referring to Les Echos, citing documents that the company handed over to employees and suppliers.
The oil giant operates approximately 60 gas stations on French motorways. The stations are operated by third-party companies, while Shell supplies fuel and provides additional services for a fee.
In 2025, this business generated operating profit of €108.5 million ($127.53 million).
According to the newspaper, Shell has notified employee representatives that it expects to find a buyer in the third quarter, and plans to complete the deal in early 2027.
