May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's external sector continues to show stable performance.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the CBA that according to customs statistics, in the 1st quarter of 2026, country's foreign trade surplus reached $1.4 billion (93.3% more against Jan-Mar 2025).

The CBA noted that the forecast for the current account surplus for the end of 2026 and 2027 has been revised upward.

According to the regulator, it is linked with the recent rise in prices for large export goods, as well as continued expansion of non-oil exports.
