April 29, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, 773.6 million manats (or 6% of overall turnover) accounted for government securities, 1.467 billion manats (11.3%) for corporate securities, and 10.752 billion manats (82.8%) for REPO-operations.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that compared with Jan-Mar 2025, the turnover of government securities grew 3.4-fold and corporate securities by 53.3%, while the volume of REPO-transactions declined by 35.7%.

For the past 3 months, 160 transactions with government securities (2.6% of overall number of transactions), 4,747 transactions with corporate securities (75.8%) and 1,355 REPO-transactions (21.6%) were concluded at the market. In annual comparison, the number of transactions fell by 40.5%, 18.9% and 14.5%, respectively.
