April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 67,751 tons of plastics and products made from them for $65.392 million for Jan-Mar 2026.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that exports of this kind of product decreased by 6,661 tons (8.9%) in volume, and by $16.351 million (20%) in value against Jan-Mar 2025.

The cost of this product made up 1.2% of Azerbaijan's overall export expenses.

Over the past 3 months, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $9.407 billion (21.9% less against Jan-Mar 2025), including exports for $5.402 billion and imports for $4.5 billion. Exports observed decline by 15.4% and imports by 29.3%.

Eventually, foreign trade surplus reached $1.398 billion (93.4% more than a year earlier).
