April 23, Fineko/abc.az. As part of execution of the budget of the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) for 2026, 3.21 billion manats were transferred to the State Budget during the 1st quarter of 2026, ABC.AZ reports, referring to SOFAZ.

Over Jan-Mar 2026, 7.1 million manats were allocated for ongoing projects. In particular, 1.2 million manats were directed to finance the State Program for improving the international competitiveness of the higher education system in Azerbaijan 2019-2023, and 5.9 million manats for the State Program for youth education in prestigious higher education institutions of foreign countries for 2022-2028.

Also, SOFAZ's management expenses amounted to 6.4 million manats.
