November 20, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Agency for tourism, in January-October 2018 the number of tourists from the Middle East reached 330,000 people, which is 42% more than the same period last year.

Among those who came this year, Russian citizens (752 thousand people) took first place. Russian tourists make up 31% of all foreigners coming to Azerbaijan, the number of which increased by 3.3% compared to the same period in 2017.

The overall growth rate of tourists arriving in the country over the past 10 months was 6.1%, while the number of tourists increased from 2.277 million to 2.416 million.
