April 17, Fineko/abc.az. “As of April 1, 2026, over 2,100 commercial entities with Russian capital have been registered in Azerbaijan, of which over 1,400 are actively operating,” said Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev during his speech at the Azerbaijan–Russia Business Council meeting held in Baku.

“These entities are engaged in key sectors of the economy, including industry, agriculture, transport, construction, trade, pharmaceuticals, and services. The volume of direct investments from Russia into Azerbaijan’s economy amounted to $10.7 billion, of which $2.9 billion was invested in the oil and gas sector,” the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
