March 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the U.S. Department of Energy has kept the daily forecasts of oil production in Azerbaijan for 2026 and 2027 unchanged.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the March issue of EIA's Short-term Energy Outlook, that in the 1st quarter of next year, the average daily oil production in the country, as expected by the U.S. Department of Energy, will be 550,000 barrels, in the 2nd quarter - 540,000, in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2027 - 530,000 barrels.

In February, the agency predicted the same volume of oil production for 2027.

Oil production in Azerbaijan in 2025 totaled 570,000 b/d in the 1st and 2nd quarters of the year and 560,000 b/d in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
