March 2, Fineko/abc.az. As of February 1,  2026, the portfolio of business loans of Azerbaijani banks in the field of transport amounted to 1.893 bn manats.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that the loan portfolio in this sphere declined by 14 million manats or 0.7% month-on-month and grew by 29.6% up to 432 million manats versus the 2025 same term.

Thus, the amount of business loans given by banks in the transport sector amounted to 1.907 bnn manats as of January 1, 2026 and 1.461 bn manats as of February 1, 2025.

As of February 1, 2026, the loan portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan totaled 29.98 bn manats. In the structure of the loan portfolio, business loans made up 53.2% (15.949 bn manats), consumer loans - 31.4% (9.426 bn manats) and mortgage loans - 15.4% (4.605 bn manats).
