March 2, Fineko/abc.az. Exchange prices for gas in Europe on the first trading day of spring are rising sharply almost by 20%, exceeding $460 per 1,000 cu m, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the London ICE exchange.

April futures on the TTF index (Europe's largest gas hub in the Netherlands) started at 11:00 a.m. (Baku time) at $464.7 per 1,000 cu m (19.1% higher than Friday's estimated price of $390.1).

By 11:04 a.m., quotations rose up to $465.4 (+19.3%).
