February 26, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat announced at a business forum in Georgia that Turkish companies have completed realizing more than 500 construction contract projects in Azerbaijan and 305 ones in Georgia.

ABC.AZ informs that Omer Bolat made such a statement at the VII Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Business Forum in Kakheti region (Georgia).

He added that the total cost of projects implemented by Turkish contractors in Azerbaijan is close to $18 billion. The minister highlighted the large-scale infrastructure initiatives and reconstruction projects carried out in the region after Azerbaijan's victory in Karabakh War 2, aimed at restoring the territories.

Bolat said that Turkish construction companies have implemented a total of 305 contract projects in Georgia, the total cost of which is $3.5 billion.

He added that it is planned to continue cooperation between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia in the transport, energy and tourism sectors in the future.

"This cooperation makes a significant contribution to the economic development of the region," he emphasized.
