February 25, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, 2.769 million manats of insurance premiums for compulsory real estate insurance were collected in Azerbaijan (29.3% less versus January 2025, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank.

In January 2025, the premiums on compulsory real estate insurance amounted to 3.914 million manats.

Last month, the compensation payment on this type of insurance halved to 101,000 manats.

In January 2026, the loss rate on compulsory real estate insurance in Azerbaijan was 3.65%, down from 5.21% in January 2025.
