January 28, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, the volume of transactions at the securities market of Azerbaijan amounted to 64.448 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs that acording to the Central Bank, the figure is 11.1% less than in 2024.

In the structure of the annual indicator, 8.36 billion manats accounted for the primary market (down by 7.1%) and 56.4 billion manats for the secondary market (down by 11.6%).

Last year, 30,916 transactions were concluded at the securities market (57.2% less year-on-year). The primary market accounted for 4,323 transactions (down 91.65%), while the secondary market accounted for 26,593 transactions (up 29.7%).

Over January-December, 10.68 billion manats (16.6%) of the total volume of transactions accounted for government securities, 3.133 billion manats (4.9%) for corporate securities, and 50.6 billion manats (78.5%) for repo transactions. Compared to the previous year, the volume of transactions with government securities increased by 35.8%, while the sector of corporate securities and repo operations decreased by 15% and 16.9%, respectively.

Of the total number of transactions concluded in 12 months,government securities made up 1,242 (4%), corporate securities - 22,801 (73.8%), and repo transactions - 6,873 (22.2%). In annual comparison, the number of transactions decreased by 54.4%, 62.7% and 19%, respectively.
