January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Credit unions in Azerbaijan finished 2025 with loss of 300,000 manats. And the credit unions completed 2024 with profit of 80,000 manats.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the statistics of the Central Bank, that in 2025, credit unions’ interest income amounted to 2 million manats, non-interest income - 300,000 manats, and transfers to special reserves - 1.2 million manats.

As of January 1, 2026, the assets of credit unions totaled 12.4 million manats (1.6% less than a year ago). Of them, 10.5 million manats accounted for loans given to customers. Thus, in annual comparison, the loan portfolio of credit unions decreased by 0.9%.
