January 27, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, the investment portfolio of the Azerbaijan State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) grew by 22.5% up to $73.539 billion.

ABC.AZ informs that according to SOFAZ's report on investment activities for 2025, in the distribution of SOFAZ's portfolio by foreign currencies, 70.4% of investments ($51.772 billion) are in US dollars (3.9% more than in the previous year).

According to the report, the share of euros in the investment portfolio fell by 3.6% to 17.5% (10.926 billion euro).

The share of the British pound in the portfolio remained unchanged at 4.9% (2.659 billion pounds), the share of the Chinese yuan decreased by 1.3% to 2.2% (11.447 billion yens), the share of the Japanese yen dropped by 0.1% to 1.3% (150.938 million yens), and the share of other foreign currencies grew by 1.1% up to 3.7% ($2.7 million).
