January 26, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump has allowed the sale of Venezuelan oil to China, but only at market prices, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Reuters.

Earlier, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that China had lost access to oil from Venezuela. At the same time, Trump noted that the Venezuelan interim authorities would transfer from 30 to 50 million barrels of oil to the U.S., promising that this oil would be sold at market prices.

Until recently, China remained the largest buyer of Venezuelan oil. In early January, tankers with 22 million barrels of oil from Venezuela were located off the coasts of Malaysia and China.
