January 7, Fineko/abc.az. Over the first 9 months of 2025, foreign direct investments from Austria to Azerbaijan amounted to $21.809 million ($8.894 million, or 29% less versus Jan-Sept 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA.

The share of investments from Austria in overall FDIs in Azerbaijan for the year under review was 0.5%.

Azerbaijan, in turn, invested $3.74 million in the Austrian economy for Jan-Sept 2024 ($44.9 million, or 13-fold less against Jan-Sept 2024.

The share of Azerbaijani investments in Austria in overall FDIs was 0.2%.

Over Jan-Sept 2024, overall FDIs from Austria to Azerbaijan amounted to $30.7 million and investments from Azerbaijan to this country - $48.638 million.

In the first 9 months of 2025, FDIs in the Azerbaijani economy exceeded $4.736 billion ($213.485 million, or 4.7% more versus Jan-Sept 2024).

At the same time, FDIs from Azerbaijan into the external economy totaled $2.039 billion ($658.09 million, or 47.7% more against Jan-Sept 2024).
