December 30, Fineko/abc.az. Bitcoin declined to around $87,000 on Tuesday after another failed attempt to stay above $90,000 in the previous session, as low trading volumes at the end of the year and weakening institutional demand put pressure on the world's largest cryptocurrency.

ABC.AZ informs that world's largest cryptocurrency was trading 2.5% lower at $87,458.6 by 10:32 a.m. on Baku time.

Bitcoin briefly surpassed the closely-watched mark of $90,000 on Monday, but quickly lost those gains, highlighting strong technical resistance near this level.
