Changes made to budget of Mandatory Health Insurance Fund

December 26, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has amended the decree dated February 10, 2025 "On the budget of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund for 2025".

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, the head of state signed a new decree.

According to the decree, costs of payments and subsidies for compulsory health insurance for medical institutions under the jurisdiction of the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBIB) have been reduced from 172 billion manats to 1.642 billion manats, including expenses relating to strengthening human resources in medical institutions, from 6 million manats to 3 million manats, and the cost of maintaining mobile hospitals in the territories - from 2.5 million manats to 1 million manats.

At the same time, costs of financing medicines, dressings and accessories, the material and technical base, staffing and other work of the subordinate medical institutions of TƏBIB were increased from 464.765 million manats up to 497.765 million manats. The cost of purchasing medicines, dressings and accessories have been reduced from 200 million manats to 190 million manats, the cost of purchasing and providing food to medical institutions lowered from 25 million manats to 21.3 million manats, and the cost of purchasing necessary medical equipment and equipment for medical institutions increased from 28 million manats to 63.5 million manats. The cost of purchasing official and special vehicles has been changed from 10 million manats to 21.2 million manats.

In addition, the cost of insurance payments for medical services to medical institutions outside the jurisdiction of TBIB has been increased from 430 million up to 495 million manats, and the cost of insurance payments to pharmacy organizations for medicines used in outpatient settings has been reduced from 40 million to 20 million manats.
