December 25, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Nov 2025, 591.459 million manats of premiums were collected in Azerbaijan due to types of insurance not relating to life insurance (6.5% more against Jan-Nov 2024), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

And compensation payments on non-life insurance types grew by 2.4% up to 249.144 million manats.

Thus, for the past 11 months, 42.1 manats out of every 100 manats of premiums collected on the life insurance market were returned to customers. One year ago, this figure was 43.8 manats.

Over Jan-Nov 2025, 16 insurance companies of Azerbaijan gathered 1.365 billion manats of premiums (11.7% more versus Jan-Nov 2024) and paid compensations for 844.833 million manats (21.7% more than a year ago).

For the past 11 months, out of every 100 manats of premiums gathered at the insurance market, 61.9 manats were paid (56.8 manats for Jan-Nov 2024).
