December 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2025, 773.896 million manats of premiums were gathered in Azerbaijan due to types of life insurance (16.1% more against Jan-Nov 2024), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The life insurance payments increased by 32.2% and reached 595.689 million manats.

Thus, for the past 11 months, out of every 100 manats of premiums collected on the life insurance market, 77 manats were returned to customers. 1 year ago, this figure was 67.6 manats.

For Jan-Nov 2025, 1.365 billion manats of premiums were gathered by 16 insurance companies in Azerbaijan (11.7% more versus Jan-Nov 2024).

The compensations paid by insurance companies totaled 844.833 million manats (21.7% more than a year ago).

For the past 11 months, out of every 100 manats of premiums collected on the insurance market, 61.9 manats were paid (56.8 manats for Jan-Nov 2024).
