December 25, Fineko/abc.az. China dominates the global energy race. Its energy capacity has reached a record of 3.75 terawatts.

ABC.AZ reports that this figure has doubled over the past 8 years: China's capacity is already 3-fold that of the United States (1.3 terawatts).

China is also building 34 nuclear reactors, which is more than the 9 other countries on the list. Nearly 200 more reactors are under planning or development. By comparison, the U.S. does not build a single large commercial nuclear reactor.
