Uzbekistan sets record for gold exports in 11 months of 2025

 December 23, Fineko/abc.az. Uzbekistan shipped a total of $9.9 billion worth of gold abroad in 11 months of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the National Statistics Committee, the indicator increased by 49.4% over the year.

At the beginning of December, republic's trade turnover exceeded $72.8 billion, with annual increase of 21.8%. The main trading partners of Uzbekistan during this period were China, Russia and Kazakhstan. These countries accounted for 42.3% of the overall share of foreign trade.

On December 22, the price of gold rose above $4,400 per ounce for the first time. Growth related to geopolitical and trade tensions. Additional support for precious metal prices was provided by the weakening of the dollar.
