December 18, Fineko/abc.az. Work on the first phase of the Baku port has been completed. As a result of the consolidation of structures and changing realities, work is already underway on the Master Plan and strategic directions for the development of the Baku Port.

ABC.AZ informs that the director of the Baku International Seaport, Eldar Salakhov, told journalists about this during a media tour at the port.

"Phase 2 of the Baku Port will provide at least 25 million tons and more than half a million container equivalents of TEU. Design work is currently underway. The preliminary results will be announced in the coming months," the director emphasized.
