December 3, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of private money transfers decreased by 7.1% and amounted to $700 million in October, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the NBU data.

Wages that Ukrainians receive from abroad declined by 25.3%, while other private transfers received through official channels increased by 18.3%.

In general, receipts through official channels were at the level of October 2024, having decreased by only 0.9%, while the flow through informal channels dropped by 16.2% compared to October 2024.

In total, for Jan-Oct 2025, the money transfers decreased by 12.1% to $7 billion: net wages declined by 19.8% and private transfers by 2.3%
