Visa's share in payments in Azerbaijan made up 60% of overall payments

December 1, Fineko/abc.az. This October, the share of Visa in payments in Azerbaijan increased and made up 60% of overall payments.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank, that out of the total volume of transactions for 12.873 billion manats in October, for 7.789 billion manats with use of Visa, the remaining 5.13 billion manats with use of MasterCard, 900,000 manats with use of American Express and for 69.94 million manats with use of local bank cards.

Visa's share was 55% n October 2024, and by January 2025 this indicator grew up to 57%.
