Transactions with Visa cards worth 7.8 billion manats carried out in Azerbaijan

November 28, Fineko/abc.az. As of the end of October of this year, a total of 141.1 million transactions were carried out with use of Visa cards (including payment cards of statistical units) issued by financial institutions-residents of Azerbaijan, the total volume of which amounted to 7.8 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that compared with the previous month, the number of transactions increased by 39.3 million manats or 38.6%, and the volume of transactions by 1.6 billion manats or 25.6%.

At the same time, the number of Visa card transactions issued by non-resident financial institutions reached 1.1 million, and the total volume was 88.6 million manats.
