November 28, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is working on job loss insurance for people who take out loans.

ABC.AZ informs that Rustam Takhirov, Director of the Department of Sustainable Development of the Financial Sector of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, made this statement at an event on the theme "Integration of the banking & insurance sectors" organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Baku.

"As you know, borrowers are insured against accidents during life, death and disability. The CBA has adopted rules regarding this, and this insurance product is being successfully implemented. At the same time, work is underway to insure people who have taken out a loan against loss of employment. The parameters of this product are being determined, and rules are being developed. We will probably see updates to this product in the coming months. This process will continue to cover business loans," he said.
