November 28, Fineko/abc.az. The new package of EU sanctions will create additional difficulties for Turkish banks when working with Russian partners, but Ankara and Moscow will be able to find a solution, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Umit Nazmi Khazir, a Turkish political scientist and expert on Russia.
Earlier it was noted that local banks have increased internal checks and restricted operations related to Russia in order to avoid secondary sanctions. According to him, this is already creating serious obstacles for business, tourism and private money transfers between the countries.
The expert added that Turkey takes into account the importance of the tourism sector for its economy, therefore, it will strive to minimize the negative effects of restrictions.
