November 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has changed the Procedure for transactions with persons associated with banks, approved by a resolution dated January 31, 2024.

ABC.AZ informs that in this regard, CBA governor Taleh Kazimov signed a new decision.

According to the decision, when calculating the limits of the total amount of loan claims to relevant persons, funds other than the currency in which the loan was given, but only in euros, British pounds, US dollars, Japanese yen and Swiss francs, up to 80% unconditional, are used as collateral for a loan given in a foreign currency. the secured part of this loan requirement for a loan for a period of up to one year, up to 70% for a loan for a period of more than one year, the part will not be taken into account.

The CBA Legal Department has been instructed to submit this decision to the Ministry of Justice within 3 days for inclusion in the State Register of Legal Acts.
