November 19, Fineko/abc.az. The functionality of the instant payment system, which is one of the central components of the digital payments ecosystem in Azerbaijan, should be used in a more efficient manner.

ABC.AZ reports that Zakir Nuriyev, the chairman of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA), made the relevant statement at the IX International Banking Forum in Baku as part of the cooperation of his organization with the International Card Organization Mastercard.

"So, along with attracting the turnover of other payment systems, introduction of QR code as an alternative payment instrument, it is necessary to ensure introduction of more innovative payment instruments and technologies, pay attention to the use of NFC technology," he emphasized.
