Central Bank governor: Foreign trade balance formed positive balance of $2.4 bn

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 10 months of this year, the foreign trade balance, the main component of the balance of payments, reached positive balance of $2.4 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that CBA governor Taleh Kazimov made this statement during the discussion of the Draft Law on State Budget 2026 at today’s plenary session of the Parliament.

He added: "The current operating balance surplus for the first 6 months of 2025 amounted to $2.3 bn, which is 6.3% of GDP. According to CBA's October forecasts, current account surplus will reach $3.7 billion by the end of 2025."
