November 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 6 years, the share of the non-oil/gas sector in the economy has grown from 58.3% up to 70.2%.

Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said this during the discussion of the Draft Law on State Budget 2026 at today’s Milli Majlis plenary session.

The minister noted that starting in 2018, reforms in the tax and customs sphere and in the labor market were launched, and in 2019-2025 there were very important qualitative and structural changes in the development of the domestic economy. During 2019-2025, the share of the non-oil/gas sector in the economy grew from 58.3% in 2018 up to 70.2% at the end of this year.
