November 12, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of 2025, the number of tourists from European countries who visited Azerbaijan reached 141,264 people (nearly 11% more than the 127,440 tourists for Jan-Sept 2024).

ABC.AZ informs that European tourists’s costs in Azerbaijan increased and reached 169.2 million manats (in 2024 – 166.8 million manats). Although the increase was relatively small, at 1.5%, the number of trips grew faster, resulting in a slight decrease in the average cost per tourist. In 2025, one European tourist spent an average of 1,198 manats in Azerbaijan (in 2024, this figure was 1,309 manats).

According to the State Statistics Committee, Germany (16,568 people), Great Britain (18,756 people) and Italy (9,986 people) are the leaders among the European countries from which the most tourists come to Azerbaijan. These countries are also at the top of the list in terms of costs.
