India and Russia plan to produce passenger aircrafts SJ-100 together

October 28, Fineko/abc.az. India and Russia signed an agreement on joint production of passenger planes just a few weeks before Vladimir Putin's visit to New Delhi.

ABC.AZ informs that Indian state-owned company Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. has signed an agreement with the United Aircraft Corporation of Russia (UAC) on the production of civil aircraft of local lines SJ-100.

As part of the agreement, HAL will receive the rights to manufacture twin-engine narrow-body aircraft SJ-100 for Indian customers, the company added.
