Gazprom increases gas exports to Turkey by 18% in 8 months

October 28, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 8 months of 2025, Gazprom increased exports of network blue fuel to Turkey by 18% by 2024, up to 14.6 bcm.

ABC.AZ informs that in the last summer month, the Russian Federation sent 1.84 bcm to Turkey via two gas pipelines laid through the bottom of the Black Sea.

The country's overall gas demand reached a record of 4.3 bcm in August. Over Jan-Aug, Turkey increased its consumption of these energy resources by about 25%.

Over the past 8 months of this year, Gazprom increased exports to Turkey by 2.6%, up to more than 21 bcm. Shipments, including liquefied methane, reached 21.5 bn tons.
