October 16, Fineko/abc.az. An Azerbaijani company will construct a canned food production plant in Uzbekistan, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.

"During negotiations, the directions of cooperation on implementation of the project of organizing the production of canned products in Uzbekistan were discussed. Special attention is paid to the selection of land plots for the location of factories, design and infrastructure support, as well as government support measures," the Ministry reports.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for the prompt implementation of the agreements reached and expressed their intention to develop new areas of industrial cooperation. The project will be implemented with the participation of Azerbaijani company NB Holding.
