October 9, Fineko/abc.az. Agriculture Minister Majnun Mammadov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Azerbaijan Ralf Horleman.

ABC.AZ informs that Mammadov presented to the participants the role of the agricultural sector in development of the non-oil sector in our country, ongoing reforms, support for farmers and investment opportunities.

The parties discussed programs for agricultural cooperation, strengthening the legal framework, signing of a memorandum of understanding, increasing productivity, rational use of land and water resources, digitalization, technology transfer, animal husbandry and education.

It was emphasized that there is great potential for expanding cooperation in the field of agriculture between the two countries.
