Egyptian billionaire to invest $50 bn in U.S. infrastructure

September 22, Fineko/abc.az. Nassef Sawiris, Egypt's largest entrepreneur with a fortune of $9 bn, plans to invest up to $50 bn in infrastructure projects in the U.S.

ABC.AZ informs that by combining OCI Global and Orascom Construction, AZ will create a structure in Abu Dhabi that will focus on the construction of data centers, transport terminals and other facilities.

He stressed that Orascom's deep experience in construction and project management gives it an advantage over financial players. Among the projects implemented through the American subsidiary of Weitz are airport terminals, residential university campuses and data centers.
