September 15, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. equity funds lost $19 bn in a week due to the outflow of customer funds.
ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the Emerging Portfolio Fund Research (EPFR) data presented in the Bank of America report.
In the report, portfolio managers note that such a case may be related to the desire of investors to lock in profits after the growth of the U.S. stock market in recent months, especially against the background of weak labor market indicators in the country.
The largest capital inflows were registered in early August ($27.7 bn) and at the end of March ($20.2 bn). Since the beginning of the year, global investors have invested $153 bn in American funds, which is one and a half times less than in the same period of 2024.
