September 10, Fineko/abc.az. In January–August of the current year, investments in fixed capital in Azerbaijan amounted to 11 billion 374.5 million manats.

According to ABC.AZ, citing the State Statistics Committee, this figure is 0.2% lower than during the same period in 2024.

The report notes that investment in the oil and gas sector fell by 16.6%, while non-oil sector investments increased by 8%.

Of the total investments used, 5,800,200,000 manats (51%) were allocated to manufacturing, 3,819,900,000 million manats (33.6%) to the service sector, and 1,754,400,000 manats (15.4%) to residential construction.

Out of all fixed capital investments, 8,752,800,000 manats (77%) were domestic investments. Furthermore, 8,985,900,000 million manats (79% of total investments) were directed specifically toward construction and installation works.
