September 8, Fineko/abc.az. Iraq is holding negotiations with Exxon Mobil regarding oil storage at facilities in Asia and other crude markets.

According to ABC.AZ, this was stated by SOMO head Ali Nizar. Iraq’s state oil company SOMO is considering building storage tanks in Singapore and “in any other locations with access to major markets, including Asia and Europe.” A U.S. option is also being considered as possible, Bloomberg reports.

According to him, this would help ensure uninterrupted deliveries to buyers during periods of instability.
