September 3, Fineko/abc.az. A new phase of reconstruction has started at the Azi Aslanov station of the Baku Metro.

According to ABC.AZ, which cites Report, the upgrades are aimed at bringing the infrastructure up to modern standards. Works on the station’s dead-end tracks include major repairs, reinforcement of floors and walls, replacement of old blocks with new ones, as well as anti-corrosion and waterproofing treatments.

During the reconstruction, passengers can continue to use the Azi Aslanov – Ahmadli route.

The renovation is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
