September 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will prepare a long-term investment program for Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, citing the bank.

“Azerbaijan, as one of AIIB’s founding members, has been a valued partner from the outset," AIIB President and Chairman Jin Liqun said during the signing of a joint declaration on expanding partnership with Azerbaijan.

Jin Liqun noted that AIIB is committed to continuing support for the country’s development and recognizes its significant growth potential.

"This joint declaration reflects our efforts to design a long-term investment program aimed at creating an interconnected future. AIIB looks forward to working with Azerbaijan to support its national priorities and develop infrastructure both domestically and regionally,” he emphasized.
