Türkiye intends to develop energy cooperation with Russia

September 1, Fineko/abc.az. Türkiye is ready to strengthen cooperation with Russia, particularly in the field of nuclear energy and gas trade, country’s Minister of Energy, Alparslan Bayraktar said, as quoted by ABC.AZ.

He said that he accompanied Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in China at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.

“We are determined to further strengthen Turkish-Russian relations, developing our strategic cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit, especially in the areas of natural gas trade and nuclear energy,” he said.
