September 1, Fineko/abc.az. As of the end of July 2025, the number of transactions made with MasterCard cards issued by resident financial institutions (as well as payment cards of statistical units) in Azerbaijan reached 78.093 million, with a transaction volume of 5.162 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), that compared to the end of July last year, the number of MasterCard transactions increased by 17.9 million or 30%, while the transaction volume grew by 526.9 million manats or 11.4%.

In addition, during the reporting period, the number of transactions made with MasterCard cards issued by non-resident financial institutions amounted to 483,700, with a transaction volume of 48.8 million manats. Compared to the same period last year, the number of such transactions decreased by 53,800 or 10%, while the volume dropped by 9.6 million manats or 16.7%.
