August 29, Fineko/abc.az. The liberated territories offer great prospects for the development of logistics and international relations.

According to ABC.AZ, this was stated by the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Yusif Abdullayev.

However, he noted that the country currently faces a shortage of specialists in investment promotion.

“It is a very interesting but emotionally intensive job: one must be able to persuade partners to come to Azerbaijan and start cooperation here. But it is not enough just to attract them — it is important to support and accompany investors’ activities within the country. In this context, soft skills, foreign language proficiency, and logistics competencies are highly in demand,” Abdullayev pointed out.

He added that Russian continues to remain one of the main languages of business communication in the region. However, along with English, Chinese, French, and German are becoming increasingly popular.

“These languages are in demand since China is one of the key partners with whom we associate great expectations in terms of investments. At the same time, logistics is opening up new opportunities for the English-speaking world as well, including along the so-called ‘Trump route,’” Abdullayev concluded.
