August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Investor interest from Europe and the U.S. in Azerbaijan is on the rise.

According to ABC.AZ, this was stated by the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Yusif Abdullayev.

According to him, the U.S. is already showing interest in the Azerbaijani market, and in the future, America may become one of the country’s key partners.

He emphasized that the recent political developments have created a favorable background for expanding cooperation. In particular, the signing of an agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington in August, brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump, was a significant achievement not only for the presidents but also for the prestige of all involved states.

“If we talk about taking Azerbaijan to a new level, especially in the areas I represent — business, export, investments — the ongoing processes have placed us in a very advantageous position in terms of attracting new companies and investors,” Abdullayev stressed.
